I’m Jennifer Wheeler, and I’ve been a dental technician since 2000. From day one, I knew this was what I wanted to do. I wanted to learn everything I could about it, and I couldn’t wait to have the knowledge I needed to be successful. I genuinely want everyone to love their smile, and working as an in-house technician for 18 years has taught me what an emotional and challenging experience this is for patients.
I met Dr. Mead a few years ago, and we had an instant connection. We knew we wanted a place where we could be more involved with our patients and provide an amazing experience. And now we are doing just that! With a great team and a good vibe atmosphere, we can give patients the treatment they need and deserve.
A little bit more about me: I have a daughter that is my world, a horse-sized dog, two sweet crazy ferrets, and a sometimes-cool cat. I have always been into arts and crafts, so I am always trying something new and making all kinds of fun things. I love Halloween, and music feeds my soul. I am a big fan of comedy! Having a great sense of humor gets me through the chaos life loves to bring. I take great pride in my work; if my patient isn’t happy, then I’m not happy. That’s something Dr. Mead and I both share, so I can’t wait for you to meet us and let us show you what we can do!

Jen, a 2001 graduate with an associate's degree in surgical tech, is DAANCE, BLS, PALS, ACLS certified. When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her husband, son, and fur babies. Jennifer's 20+ years of experience in the dental field qualifies her to care for patients knowledgeably.
